PHP renamed to PythonScript in an attempt to refresh the brand
As Python's popularity continues to grow steadily, the PHP community makes an attempt to refresh its brand by pulling the same trick JavaScript did in 1995.
To avoid possible confusion, PHP's official new name will be "AcmeScript", but the community leaders want to emphasize that "acme" is not a reference to Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote cartoons, but rather to an Ancient Greek word which means "zenith". As in, "the zenith, the prime language, the peak of evolution".
However, "AcmeScript" is only for formal use cases. In everyday life, PythonScript is the preferred term.
