New version of Slack supports VMs and containers inside chats
The relentless growth of Slack does not seem to stop. After multiple relatively small features during 2020, the popular team communications platform finally dropped the big update which allows running full blown virtual machines and docker containers inside any channel or private chat.
Surprisingly, CPU and RAM requirement did not change significantly: for example, 32 GB of ram is still the minimal recommended amount just like in the previous versions of Slack.
