Google reveals Fitbit Ankle Bracelet with "check in at Google HQ" feature

Last month Google had finalized the acquisition of Fitbit, manufacturer of fitness tracking devices. Today Google has finally revealed the newest hardware product in Fitbit lineup: a fitness ankle bracelet.

The Fitbit Ankle Bracelet (FAB) is meant to be worn at all times. It tracks user's activities and helps authorities find the user in case they need assistance. To improve motivation, FAB allows the user to "check in" at various institutions, for example, a local police station or the nearest Google office, in order receive bonuses.
