.NET developer's family does not know his blog is hosted on Linux

To save some money on hosting fees senior developer Scott [REDACTED] migrated his ASP.NET Core web blog to Linux VMs. While the decision was solely based on cost Scott has yet to tell his family about the shift.

Scott has been working up the courage to explain exactly how much he is saving on his monthly cloud bills and that this decision is purely based on cost. He is firm this decision changes nothing on his feelings with regards to the Linux desktop.

In addition to the dismissive eyerolls Scott will be saddled with months of explaining the differences to his largely uninterested high school aged children.
