Dark mode editors yield better software than static typing

A new research from the Institute of Static Human Operated Transparency and General Universal Neocomputing (IoSHOTGUN) concludes that statically typed programming languages do not yield as big of improvement in software quality as previously believed. However, regardless of the choice of programming language, those software engineers who use text editors in dark mode generally produce better software.

Randomized blind trials have confirmed that this is not merely a correlation. However, companies are hesitant to introduce mandatory dark mode configuration just in case dark mode is considered racist in the future.
